Aiden Gianni Hinojosa Memorial Fund

Aiden Gianni Hinojosa passed away on February 28, 2021 at the age of 15.  Aiden was born with a congenital heart defect that he fought valiantly with throughout his life.  By the age of 7 Aiden had already endured 4 open heart surgeries and by the age of 9 had completed the 3 stages to correct his heart defect.  However, after Aiden completed the procedures to correct his heart, he began to battle with an auto immune disease that resulted in being in and out of the hospital for treatment.  In October of 2019, Aiden’s medical team of doctors said he was beginning to show signs of heart failure.  After pursuing 2 different facilities, it was confirmed that he was not a candidate for a heart transplant due to the complexities of all his other medical conditions.  His heart had become too frail to handle a transplant.

Despite his medical struggles, Aiden was full of life and cherished his family and friends above all else.  He loved caring for others, and it showed in his actions.  Aiden was also an avid gamer and loved playing games like Fortnite, Call of Duty, Spiderman, and Minecraft. 

We are all devastated by Aiden's loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service.  Unfortunately obtaining life insurance for Aiden was never possible due to his preexisting conditions.  We want to give Aiden the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. His family is currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Aiden's funeral.
