Aiden Rice medical emergency after car accident

Hello my name is Angela Sandlin and I want to start by saying I’ve received the family’s blessing to organize this go fund me on behalf of Nicholas and Aiden Rice. Let me tell you a little bit about Aiden. He is a typical eight-year-old with beautiful blue eyes who loves to play soccer and video games. Aiden is the best big brother, makes straight A’s and recently tested into the gifted and talented program at his school. As many of you know Aiden was involved in a horrific car accident on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He is in Children’s hospital in Dallas Texas and has already gone through a surgery to repair a hole in his bladder. On Monday July 11, 2022 he will be having a second surgery to repair his broken pelvis. He also has a brain injury and we continue to pray for and expect a total healing in this area. We don’t know how long Aiden will be in Children’s hospital or how much care he will need upon release to get down this long road of recovery. Nicholas has been at the hospital since the wreck occurred and will remain by Aidens side as he continues to heal from this traumatic event. The funds that we raise will help him with any expenses he incurs during this terrible time. Gas, food, and lodging these days are outrageously expensive and we are unsure at this point how much work Nicholas will have to miss. I know his friends and family will want to help them any way they can and I would say first pray hard and believe in complete healing for Aiden, second pray for strength and peace for Nicholas as he navigates his way through this and third, donate if you can. Nicholas is a single dad who also has an almost 3 year old at home that is being cared for by his family at this time.
