Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of our beloved Aiden Thompson’s passing on September 11, 2025, at the age of 19. Aiden, a radiant soul who faced cancer with extraordinary courage, touched the lives of everyone around him with his unwavering spirit, love for basketball, and dream of graduating high school with his friends—a dream he achieved in a special ceremony at Warren County High School in March 2024. His resilience inspired us all, and though he is no longer with us, his legacy of hope, determination, and love endures.
We are immensely grateful for the outpouring of support through this GoFundMe campaign over the past year. Your donations, prayers, and messages lifted Aiden and his family—Tom, Betty, and siblings Seira and Darick—through countless challenges, from medical treatments to the grueling travel between Virginia and Pennsylvania for specialized care. Your generosity gave Aiden strength to fight and allowed his family to focus on cherishing every moment with him.
As we mourn Aiden’s loss, we are reminded of the immense financial and emotional toll his battle with cancer has taken on his family. The costs of his treatments, travel, and living expenses over the past year, combined with funeral expenses and ongoing needs, have left a significant burden. Now, more than ever, we ask for your continued support to help Tom, Betty, and their family navigate this painful time and the expenses still to come.
Our updated goal is to raise additional funds to:
Cover outstanding medical and travel expenses from Aiden’s treatment journey.
Support funeral and memorial costs, ensuring Aiden’s memory is honored with the dignity he deserves.
Provide financial relief for the family as they grieve and rebuild, giving them space to heal without the weight of financial stress.

With heartfelt gratitude,
