Help to reunite Mishka the cat with her father

My name is Philippe, I am French.

I met Jon in Georgia, during the summer of 2021, during a few days of vacation in Tbilisi. We hit it off straight away.

Since then, we have always stayed in touch.

So, Jon informed me of his happiness, with the arrival in his life of his little cat Mishka..:-)

Jon is truly a humanist, open to the world, very interesting and very cultured. He's a super nice man and very deserving. Very hardworking, he is not one to complain. However, for the first time, Jon told me of their distress since their arrival in Romania. This is why I decided to respond.

Let me clarify: I only play the role of intermediary here, given the impossibility for Jon to receive funds in Romania. To date, only 20 countries are eligible to receive transfers through GoFundMe, including France. I obviously undertake on my honor to transfer to Jon all the sums raised, to the nearest cent.

Help reunite Mishka the Cat and her father

Hello everyone! I am Mishka the cat, and my father adopted me as a young kitten in the country of Georgia. Unfortunately he was not prepared for the hard reality of finding a place to live with a pet, which was difficult and expensive. My father had a job as a teacher but we could not afford to live there anymore, and finally we had to leave. But sadly my father did not have enough savings to last us very long. It was hard to find budget accommodation which allowed pets, and he couldn't find work quickly enough. So we ended up homeless for 2 months in the forest in Romania. Several kind people helped us so we could get off the street. However, because of EU visa rules we had to move countries again. We came to Moldova where my father volunteered at an animal shelter in exchange for a place for us to stay. For the last 2 months now, I have remained here while my father has been in Chisinau, since he can't afford a place to rent. He got a little bit of teaching work, but then the holidays interrupted this. And now, in 2 week's time, he will be legally required to leave Moldova, and he wants to take me with him. Your kind generosity will mean that he doesn't have to leave me here. Any donations, however small, will be much appreciated! The funds will cover temporary accommodation for us, and basic living expenses while my father looks for work. We appreciate any support in any amount, to help us get through this difficult time and be reunited as soon as possible. Thank you for your support!
