Bonjour à tous,

Je m'appelle Summer et j'ai 5 ans et demi et je suis une belle Boxer pleine d'énergie et d'amour qui aime jouer avec mes frères et ma sœur. Il y a 2 jours j'ai essayer de faire pipi et il n'y avait rien qui sortait. Maman m'a apporter au Centre Vétérinaire Laval qui nous ont annoncer que j'avais un blocage urinaire et qu'il fallait agir rapidement ou j'allais mourir. Il y avait 2 options. Soit une opérations a 4000$ (Maman n'a pas ce genre de sous) ou ils allaient aller chercher les calculs dans ma vessie ou essayer de débloquer mon urètre et espérer que les médicaments et la nouvelle nourriture allait faire fondre les calculs et que j'allais être ok après. Cette deuxième option était 1172.47$ et un mois avant noël c'est ce qui faisait plus de sens car ils ont dit que cette option a souvent du succès mais qu'il y avait quand même des risque que ca rebloque quand même. Maman a pris la chance et guess what... J'ai rebloquer hier...

Donc Maman et Papa ont fait plus d'une trentaine d'appels dans les vétérinaire pour voir si quelqu'un pouvait m'opérer d'urgence et si les couts allaient entre moindre qu'à l'urgence et au moment ou ils ont commencer à penser et poser des questions sur l'euthanasie et son cout, un gentil docteur a accepter de me prendre en charge au Hôpital vétérinaire des Maskoutains inc. à Saint-Hyacinthe. J'ai été admise hier soir en urgence. Ils ont vider ma vessie et m'ont insérer un cathéter pour la nuit. Ce matin, j'ai fait un petit pipi et je suis enjouée mais j'ai mal au ventre, j'ai hâte de bien aller et de retrouver mes frères et ma sœur Océane, Axl, Eliott et Pablo. Je vais me faire opérer au courant de la matinée. Maman vous tiens au courant.

Les coûts rattacher à mon opérations seront d'environ 1900$ avec taxes. Rajoutez ça au 1300$... C'est pour ca que je vous demande un coup de pousse pour aider Maman et Papa en ce temps des fêtes car mettons que 3200$ n'était pas dans leur budget de Noël 2021. Maman va ajouter la facture de l'opération demain par soucis de transparence.

My name is Summer and I am 5 and a half years old and I am a beautiful Boxer full of energy and love who loves to play with my brothers and my sister.

2 days ago I tried to pee and there was nothing coming out. Mom brought me to the Center Vétérinaire Laval who told us that I had a urinary blockage and that we had to act quickly or I was going to die. There were 2 options. Either a $ 4000 operation (Mum doesn't have that kind of money) or they were going to go and get the stones in my bladder or try to unblock my urethra and hope the drugs and the new food would melt the stones and I was going to be ok afterwards. This second option was $ 1172.47 and a month before Christmas that's what made more sense because they said that this option is often successful but there was still a risk that it would block again anyway. Mom took the chance and guess what ... I blocked again yesterday ...

So Mom and Dad made more than thirty calls to different veterinarians to see if someone could operate on me urgently and if the costs were less than in the CVL and when they started to think and ask questions about euthanasia and its cost, a kind doctor agreed to take care of me at the Maskoutains Veterinary Hospital in Saint-Hyacinthe. I was admitted as an emergency last night. They emptied my bladder and put a catheter in for the night. This morning, I took a little wee and I'm cheerful but my stomach hurts, I can't wait to be well and to hang out my brothers and my sister Océane, Axl, Eliott and Pablo. I'm going to have the operation this morning. Mom will keep you posted.

The costs related to my operation will be approximately $ 1900 with taxes. Add that to the $ 1300 ... That's why I'm asking you for a little help for Mom and Dad this holiday season because let's say that $ 3200 was not in their Christmas 2021 budget. Mom will add the bill for the operation tomorrow for the sake of transparency.
