I am Maryam from Gaza. I, my family, and my husband’s family live under siege and war in Gaza. We spent a whole year living between bombing, displacement, destruction, and blood. The winter was very harsh. No one knows what they are experiencing. Our children live every day in the rain, bodies trembling from cold and hunger. Their bodies sleep broken-hearted. They ask for food and it is not available. No. No one knows that we are broken in front of them and weak and helpless

Hands, and with that, summer came and did not have mercy on us. It burned our bodies and changed our features. The fabric of the tents crawled and was no longer fit to receive winter. As you know, winter is upon us in the coming days and we are no longer able to do anything. We have truly become in a state of despair and surrender. How will we continue in a state of starvation and displacement?

We left our homes hoping to return to them. Unfortunately, all the shops we owned and which were our source of livelihood were demolished. For 9 months, my husband has been unemployed. We live in a mobile tent. Me, my husband, my children, my mother, my sisters, my mother-in-law and her daughter, my husband’s brother, his wife and his children. After 5 months, each of us was displaced somewhere and separated, our hearts aching for each other. There is no safe place.

My husband is the only man in our family. After losing my husband in the war and leaving his wife and children, my husband is sick and suffers from inflammation and bleeding in the neck. I thank everyone who helped, donated and spoke about my family's situation, but things are getting worse every day. My husband's condition delayed and his condition became worse. Treatment costs are high. My husband needs to travel for the operation abroad due to hospital closures, medicine shortages, and high prices. We had a small surgery in the hospital, but it failed. The wound started bleeding again, and we had to get the poison out On a daily basis, this is tiring and very expensive. We have to borrow money in order to cover the medications

I hope you will cover the costs of treatment and travel and save my family from this war that killed everything beautiful in our lives. I do not want to lose my husband, my daughter, my mother, or my sisters. My husband’s mother, his sisters, my husband’s brother’s wife, and her children

bombings and Bullets happen randomly. In tents we are exposed to danger and death every day. My life and their lives were in danger, so I asked for help, and I got the person who would run my campaign. I hope everyone will help and donate in order to meet our needs for food first, safe housing, evacuate us, and get us to safety. We pray to God that the war will end and we will be able to build.
