Aiding Austin’s recovery

Early Saturday morning a call went out over the EMS radio; “24 year old male, traumatic arrest.” One mistake, one wrong move, and anyone could share the same story as Austin Vail. Austin is a dependable, hardworking, brilliant, and kind young man, who has dedicated his life to helping others. Whether it was as a scribe in the ER or in an endocrinology clinic, his passion for serving those less fortunate knows no bounds. But after suffering a traumatic cervical spine injury and lung trauma, Austin is now the one laying the hospital bed. Once Austin has healed enough he will need to undergo extensive rehab. His family has been taking on the medical bills and rent, but they are not alone. They don’t need to do this all on their own. Austin is a loved and valued member of this community, who has touched the lives of many.
