Aiding the Cordero Family's New Start

My name is James Cordero. I was raised in the quaint town of Altadena, in a house my parents purchased in 1995. Though I myself moved out years ago for college, then medical school, and now for medical residency, my family continued to live at the house for the past 30 years. Unfortunately, like many others in the area, we lost our home to the Eaton Fire. My family was only able to gather photo albums and important documents before needing to evacuate so everything else we owned, from recently purchased appliances/furniture to priceless family heirlooms, was destroyed. We are beyond grateful everyone is safe, but remain devastated and uncomfortably unsure of what the near future will look like. If you can, please consider donating and/or sharing our story—every little bit helps us start rebuilding our lives. My heart goes out to the hundreds of thousands of others similarly affected by these natural disasters and the brave emergency responders who continue to tirelessly work towards stopping them. Though the path ahead will be difficult, we will bounce back from this. Thank you all <3
