Aikido Center Sacramento Relocation
Donation protected
Since 1995, students at Aikido Center Sacramento have been learning Aikido, a martial art that employs peaceful means to neutralize aggression and violence. Aikido is a vehicle for children and young and older adults to cultivate peace and conflict resolution in a collaborative and fun way. Our current location at 2417 21 Street has been our home since 1996.
Beginning November 1st, we plan to be in our new building next door at 2409 21 Street.
In order for us to be up and running with limited break in our regular class schedule, we are asking for financial support from the community, our members (current and former), friends, and family.
Money from our campaign will be used to install a subfloor for the training mats, install overhead lights and ceiling fans, build changing rooms, remove and reinstall the Peace Pole, and pay for other related materials, equipment and signage.
Our goal is to raise $6000 by October 31, 2016.
It is our sincerest wish that 2409 21 Street will be home for Aikido Center Sacramento for at least another 20 years. From our new location we will continue to serve Sacramento through Aikido and related practices, being a facilitator and beacon of peace for years to come. We invite everyone to visit and see how aikido can change your life and help to foster a peaceful society.
