Aimee Gordon Cancer Fund

Aimee Gordon, my daughter-in-law, was diagnosed with cancer about 2 ½ years ago.  Aimee completed 2 rounds of chemo and radiation and started her third round of chemo.  She is a fighter but due to complications from the cancer she had to stop her chemo treatment.

Her husband, Matthew (my son) has been there to support her every step of the way.  Matthew used up his allotment of family medical leave last year and this year and took off many weeks of work with no pay to comfort Aimee.  Unfortunately, Aimee’s condition has worsened and she will be entering hospice care soon.  Matthew is taking a month off work, again with no pay.  I must add his work has been awesome giving him the time off. 

This fund was created because several people have inquired about what they can do to support them.  As you can imagine this has taken a toll on their finances and added stress.  As Aimee struggles physically and emotionally through cancer, the one thing I feel can help both of them is their financial well-being.  Neither one needs the added stress over the financial issues caused by this horrible disease.
