Aimee’s final wishes

Hi, my name is Theresa and I am fundraising on behalf of my best friends daughter Aimée.

In October 2023, Aimée started suffering with unimaginable pain from headaches. She attended Southend A&E where the hospital team found a mass on her brain.

Over the following weeks Aimee spent her time between Southend and Queens hospital in Romford where after further investigations, it was discovered that she has a mass in the Thalimuss.

Devastatingly it has been found to be an inoperable stage 4 cancerous tumour. This means Aimée has been given a terminal diagnosis with only an optimistic 3-6 months to live. Initially the hospital did start radiotherapy but have since stopped this as they found it to be ineffective.

At just 34 years old, with a fiancé and her whole life ahead of her this news has been completely soul destroying. Since her diagnosis Aimée has been left unable to work, whilst still having to pay her mortgage and bills. This means any final wishes and dreams she may have are unachievable.

Some of the dreams Aimée has include;

• Going to Harry Potter world

• Sleeping in a tree house

• Getting her nails done

• Having her hair styled

• Date night with her fiancé

• Having lunch on the seafront with her mum

• A family meal

• Drive in cinema

• Cold weather BBQ

• Matching family tattoos

• As many experiences as possible with her mum

Ultimately, we know Aimée may not get to complete all her wishes but we would like to give her opportunity to enjoy them without the financial burden.

We know that financially times are hard for everyone at the moment but the smallest donation will be gratefully appreciated and may help Aimée to achieve some of the wishes in the short time she has left with us.
