Hey friends Aimee here. Well it’s been a minute since I’ve made an update but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been super busy. What a wild 6 months. Since ‘Mean Boy’ was released October 20, 2023 we have since tracked and recorded song #2 ‘Panhandle Blues’ and it is presently being mixed and mastered as we speak and is set to be released mid April. It is a slow and bluesy and kinda country song, and I can’t wait to share it with you! We will hopefully resume tracking again next month for songs #3 and #4 God willing and the creek don’t rise! So if anyone is interested in helping us get this album made, we would so appreciate it. As many of you know, I am totally independent and self financed and have been so for years. Other than the funds that I’ve raised here so far, every penny has come straight from my apron! Yes, I quit my bookkeeping job, my cushy desk job to go back into the restaurant business just so I could pay for this album! lol either I’m crazy or it is truly a labor of love, We’ll see! ❤️Thank you for listening and thank you for being here! Hey Guys:
I just wanted to update you guys on everything that’s been going on and what I’ve been doing with your donations. First, I invested in some new recording gear some speakers a headset and a Sterling STH 151 microphone, a high-quality condenser mic specifically for recording. Studio time has also been booked for December and this first single could possibly be completed by the new year, fingers crossed! I couldn’t be doing any of this without your help and I appreciate each and everyone of you. Thank you for your love and contributions to my little project, you are now part of it!
