Air Force MSgt E-7 and family humbly need help

Hello, my name is Heather and I am a friend of Aaron and Sherry. They are the epitome of wonderful friends and neighbors. They are also Americans and patriots. I set up this fundraising to help them get over deep financial obstacles.

Aaron joined the Air Force in 1991 and began his military career as a crew chief. He also attended college at the Air Force Community College. He applied for Intel school and received his Bachelors through Excelsior. He was stationed at the Pentagon when 9/11 occurred. This has effected him and his family deeply, though he continued his service through May of 2011, when he was honorably discharged. During his time in the military, his wife Sherry, was a schoolteacher in Virginia, until retirement. They both have worked hard their entire lives and given to the community. This is how I met them. We help out our neighbors. Recently Aaron has relapsed, likely due to Sherry's deteriorating health.

My heart goes out to them. Many of us are 1 paycheck away as the proverbial cliché goes. Each of us, please count our blessings. I sure am. I am also a person of action and I won't see a family be so down and out. Growing up, we had very little. We were living in poverty. Yet, I watched my mom help many others, with even less. Something to remember and something that was instilled in me as well.

I am not asking for big donations. I know few can do that, I definitely cannot! However, if people pitched in $10 - $25, it will make a world of difference. It's a trip to Starbucks or to a fast food place. One time is worth skipping.
