Air Force Veterans and Families

Hello! My name is SSgt Ferdinand and I am currently serving in the USAF reserves in Nevada. This unit I am proudly a part of is one of the most family oriented and caring units mostly filled with active duty veterans. Every year we host a Holiday Party for them and their loved ones to show how appreciative we are of not only their sacrifices but also those of their families.

This year we were working very closely with a certain sponsor that seemed to care greatly for veterans and the families whom gave their word and also started the process to fund and run this years holiday party. Out of nowhere I was blindsided by said business that they pulled the entire funding right before a deposit was due and have cut all contact from our unit. Fortunately I have been able to communicate with the venue about this heartbreaking incident. I am still trying my hardest to give these veterans and loved ones a get together they more than deserve but I’m unfortunately still having to ask for help. It was horrible to break the news to my higher ups that our sponsor cancelled as they were beyond excited and grateful to have a much needed break from this year’s many hardships. Please help me give back to those who deserve so much more than this! Thank you so much in advance!
