Aldinga Community Childcare Centre (ACCC) is a not-for-profit community-based childcare centre situated in the Southern Vales of Adelaide. Our highly qualified and welcoming educators provide high quality childcare and positive learning experiences for up to 55 children. Our centre is operated out of premises owned by the local Onkaparinga council.
In 2016, bar heaters which provided the only winter heating in each of the Centre's rooms needed to be removed due to a health and safety incident. As a not-for-profit organisation, ACCC do not have sufficient funds to install much needed reverse cycle airconditioning to provide heating in winter and cooling in the hot summer months.
We have made several applications to the building owners, the Onkaparinga Council, to fund the installation but these have been unsuccessful. We have also been unsuccessful obtaining funding support through Community Grant schemes.
With winter fast approaching, please help us fund some much needed heating for the kids and staff at our fantastic centre!
