Aisling's Sarcoma Journey

Laura and Becky here, we want to introduce you to Aisling.

Aisling is the daughter of our dear friend Verena.

Aisling is a 17 year old girl who has been battling an ultra rare cancer for two years now.

Her diagnosis was a year and a half ago when she was at stage 3.

She has had two surgeries and countless treatments and is still awaiting more.

Aisling already progressed to stage 4 and she lives with this cancer.

Aisling’s illness was focused in her lungs and she had most of her right lung removed.

Since her disease has spread it now surrounds her lungs and her cardio thoracic region of her body which houses her heart, lungs, oesophagus and spine.

Her cancer is known as an ultra rare sarcoma cancer.

Some treatments are not available in Ireland so they are discussing options abroad.

Our friend, Aisling’s mum Verena has worked her whole life and since the last year she has had to leave her career to look after and be available for Aisling.

Aisling has big things to achieve in her life that she will need financial support.

After mum has provided everything for her kids her whole life it has come to a point that they need help.

Along with this go fund me we will be doing events and fundraisers and other fun, creative and hopeful ideas in order to achieve the dreams of this young beautiful inspiring and brave young woman who means the world to us all.
