Aislynn got accepted to compete in Miss Teen RI!

Aislynn got accepted to compete in Miss Teen RI! She is so excited about being able to be a part of something so big and being able to be a role model for other girls. As you may know, Aislynn underwent major back surgery for her scoliosis back in December 2019. Most of her life she did dance & gymnastics and was really good at both. Unfortunately, when she had her back surgery her doctor told her she wouldn't be able to do gymnastics anymore and it really broke her heart. This was because she had metal rods placed along her spine and wouldn't be able to bend and twist like before. Thankfully, she recovered quick and she even grew 1/2 an inch (lol)! She is so excited to be able to be a part of something again and show other girls that even when you are face to face with something so life-altering you can still find other outlets to make you feel good and confident!
