Salve, sono Fiore Luna Amarù, ho 23 anni e sono una ragazza transgender italiana. Vivo a Milano, studio ingegneria informatica e sono al mio ultimo anno di università.

Sto lanciando questa campagna poiché ci sono spese nel mio primo anno di percorso di transizione che non riesco a permettermi, dato che vivo in una famiglia con tre figli a carico e i miei genitori sono in grado di darmi solo abbastanza soldi per coprire le spese di sopravvivenza e tasse universitarie. Sapendo che non riuscirei a gestire contemporaneamente università e lavoro, queste spese sarebbero da rimandare a quando ne troverei uno dopo la fine del mio percorso di studi universitario, cosa che sarebbe di grande detrimento per la mia salute mentale.

È da circa un anno che ho fatto coming out come persona trans*, e ho già iniziato a muovere i primi passi nella mia transizione lavorando su come mi presento socialmente ed esteticamente, scegliendo un nome che sento mio, e iniziando a farmi seguire da una psicoterapeuta che eventualmente rilascerà il nullaosta per poter iniziare la terapia ormonale. Mi sto rivolgendo a privati poiché nell'unico centro pubblico disponibile a Milano le attese sono incredibilmente lunghe e disumanizzanti, e dato anche l'afflusso di persone che si rivolgono a esso il servizio ricevuto non è sempre dei migliori. Per questo motivo devo andare incontro a un quantitativo non indifferente di spese, incluse quelle per garantirmi un'esperienza di transizione ottimale, per poter finalmente ottenere il corpo che desidero e vivere con un'identità che sento mia.

Alcune di queste spese sono fondamentali, ad esempio la rimozione della barba con epilazione laser è pressoché obbligatoria poiché la terapia ormonale non ferma la crescita di essa, e cose come la crioconservazione del seme sono passaggi che devo affrontare prima di iniziare la terapia poiché prenderei bloccanti del testosterone che mi renderebbero infertile con alta probabilità, e questo sarebbe un ostacolo a un eventuale voler figli in futuro.

Qualsiasi aiuto per questa causa sarà più che ben accetto, poiché mi aiuterà ad avvicinarmi alla vita e alla felicità in me stessa che desidero realmente avere.

Hello, I'm Fiore Luna Amarù, I'm 23 and I am an Italian transgender girl. I live in Milan, I study Computer Science and Engineering and I am at my last year of university.

I'm starting this fundraiser because in my first year of transition I'll have to deal with some expenses that I can't afford, since I'm in a family of five and my parents can afford to send me just the money needed to cover rent, food and university. Knowing that I wouldn't be able to handle university and work at the same time, I would be forced to postpone these expenses when I'll get a job after finishing with my degree, which in turn would be a lot heavier for my mental health.

I came out as transgender around a year ago, and I've already started making my first steps in my transition by changing how I present both socially and aesthetically, by choosing a name that suits me, and by taking appointments with a therapist that eventually will grant me clearance to proceed with HRT. I'm turning to private professionals since the only public therapy center here in Milan puts you through long and dehumanizing waits, and since a good amount of people go there, the service that they offer isn't the best.

For this reason I have to go through a lot of expenses, including the ones that will guarantee me an optimal experience when transitioning, and finally obtain the body that I want to have and live with an identity that I feel is actually mine.

Some of these expenses are essential, for example, facial hair removal with electrolysis is pretty much mandatory since HRT doesn't stop hair growth, and seed cryopreservation is a step I have to go through before starting therapy since I would be taking testosterone blockers that would make me become infertile, and that would hinder any chance of trying to have kids in the future.

Any help for my cause is greatly appreciated, since it will help me get closer to the life and happiness with myself that I both want and deserve.
