Aiuta La Vecchia Faenza dopo l'alluvione!

Ciao! Sono Elisa, assieme alla mia famiglia ed ai nostri dipendenti, dal 1967 portiamo avanti l’antica tradizione delle maioliche di Faenza.

La nostra bottega non era solo il nostro luogo di lavoro, lo abbiamo sempre considerato un punto di riferimento per la città, per i turisti e gli appassionati, per la tradizione stessa di Faenza. Il nostro è un mestiere antico e fragile, ora reso ancora più fragile dagli eventi che hanno colpito la nostra amata terra.

Il nostro laboratorio e i nostri negozi, in centro storico a Faenza, sono stati gravemente danneggiati dall’alluvione del 16/17 maggio scorsi.

Tutte le attrezzature e i materiali di produzione sono andati persi, ed i locali sono gravemente danneggiati.

La tua donazione ci aiuterà a ripartire: potremmo riallestire i locali, e riacquistare le attrezzature e i materiali per ricominciare a produrre le nostre amate maioliche nel più breve tempo possibile.

Hello! My name is Elisa, and my family and I, along with our employees, have been continuing the ancient tradition of decorating ceramics from Faenza since 1967. The decorations we use are the traditional decorations from the 1400s, and many of the techniques are the same, including the minerals used to make the glazes and colors. Our ceramics workshop was not only our workplace, but was also a point of reference for the town, for tourists and for the Faenza ceramics tradition itself. Our trade is an ancient and fragile art, now made even more fragile by the events that have affected our land.

Our workshop and our shops, all in the city center, were greatly damaged by the floods on May 16-17. All of our kilns, art material and equipment were lost and the space itself incurred grave damage. This fundraising, promoted by our friends and clients who buy and know our art, will help us restart: we will be able to renovate the space (2 stores and 1 workshop), buy the equipment and material we need to start decorating our ceramics as quickly as possible.
