In this really difficult phase for our country and the Italian people, your help is needed more than ever!
Doctors and nurses are working tirelessly to fight the rapid spread of the coronavirus at the hospital of Merano in Trentino-Alto Adige, amongst many other hospitals in the North of Italy, and is in urgent need of funds to pay for more staff, intensive care facilities, drugs, and protective equipment.
Even a small donation can make a difference!
The funds raised will be directly donated to the hospital.

My name is Doris Tschenett - I am from Merano in the North of Italy and currently reside in France.
My family has been in quarantine in Italy for the past 10 days, including my elderly parents, and setting up this fund is a way for me to help as much as I can from afar.
I have been in direct contact with the director of the hospital in Merano, Dr Federspiel, who gave me permission to go ahead with this fund as the situation in hospitals in the North of Italy is extremely critical.
The hospital will use the funds to pay for intensive care equipment, drugs, and protective equipment such as masks.
As part of our conversations, Dr Federspiel has provided me with the hospital’s bank details. Therefore as a next step, I will need to transfer the money from France to Italy asap.
