Kidney and pancreas transplant

Hello, for many who know me, know what I’ve been facing for quite some time now. For those who don’t know my story, I’ll give you a brief heads up. My name is Benjamin Baker and I go by the name Mark. At the age of 31 I almost succumbed to Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome which left me with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD). I’ve been fighting it for 8 years now staying off of dialysis until the past couple of months. I’m now doing “in-center hemodialysis” 3 days a week. I can’t begin to tell you how horrible it is and how horrible it makes me feel. It basically comes down to hopelessness and despair. Im seeking a kidney and pancreas transplant from Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL where I’ll have to stay for a month post transplant. The two biggest requirements for me to be listed for those two organs is 1) My weight. 2) I have to raise $3500 for post transplant expenses in the Jacksonville area. I’m currently on disability and live tightly from paycheck to paycheck with no room to splurge. So I’m asking those who want to donate to a good cause, whether it be $1 or $100, to please consider doing so. My weight loss journey is consistent and happening faster than I had previously thought it would so now the biggest hurdle is raising this money.
