Aja was rescued and needs a new enclosure

Aja, the snake, was rescued from a tiny dark, filthy box she had lived in for several years. She spent years with nothing to do, no proper heating, lighting or even food and water.

I rescued her from that prison and have fostered her for over a year. I moved her into a larger enclosure with everything she needed. She has gained confidence, her health and well-being is thriving, but now she has outgrown her space.

Aja has a new home lined up, but she needs to have a proper enclosure built, to allow her to carry out her natural behaviours. Snakes are very sensitive animals and deserve to enjoy their time as much as possible, when born into captivity, as they cannot be released.

Aja is adventurous and needs this space to allow her last few years to be as enriching and fulfilling as possible.

This fundraiser is to custom build her a safe enclosure where she can explore and have all of her needs met in her new forever home.

The target amount includes all materials, labour and hopefully transportation of the enclosure, as well as the fees here.
