A mom in need

Hi, my name is Fiesha Parker and me and my family are going through a tragic time. I’m trying to raise funds to cover a small portion of my bills. On March 30th around 5pm-ish my 13 year old son (Elijah) saved a life and almost lost his own in the process and was shot in the stomach. The bullet went in and out. Because of the damage the bullet did going through his intestines and out, he has a temporary colostomy to allow bowel healing. His bladder was also successfully repaired. He’ll likely be in the hospital for 6-8 weeks depending on some circumstances, which means he has to miss school for a while as well. My son has a long road to recovery but he’s determined to do it fast with me (his mom) & family & friends by his side. Talking, walking, repositioning him self, and sitting up all sooner than the doctors thought. He’s very brave, strong, blessed, and highly favored. Never knew how strong I was until strong was my only option. It’s not easy seeing your minor child go through pain that you wish you can take away. I’m not asking for much, but every little bit counts. I will likely be out of work for about 2-3 months to take care of Elijah while still being a mom to two younger children also, ages 4 & 6.
