Help Aj Cat Get To The 2013 Supercross
Hello everyone,
My name is Aj Catanzaro, I am 19 years old and currently living in Portland, CT. I have been riding dirt bikes since I was 2 years old working towards my dream of becoming a professional racer. After all the hard work and dedication my dream turned into a reality at the age of 16. In my rookie year I won my first Championship in the 2010 West Coast Arenacross Series. Since then I decided it was time to take my career to the next level. For the past two years I have been competing in the Monster Energy Supecross Series as well as the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship. Throughout my career I have been very blessed to receive a lot of support in the past. Especially from the Ohlins/Langston Motorsports team when I was given the opportunity to ride for them in 2012.
Unfortunately due to the poor economy many teams have been forced to close up shop. Leaving riders like myself in a very tough situation. The Langston Motorsports team along with the Reed & Reese team who I was most recently riding for have both made the decision to shut down.
Many riders choose to wait it out until a spot becomes open on a team. For me that is not an option. I want to make it in this sport and just waiting around is not going to bring in any support. So I decided this year with the great support of Pilgrim Powersports I will make a full privateer effort in the 2013 Monster Energy East Coast Supercross series aboard a Kawasaki 250f. I will have to travel the country in my van. So the cost of food, gas and a place to stay is going to add up very quickly. I have the best fans in the world, so I was hoping by creating this page it would get my fans more directly involved. I can't do it without all of you, and I think it will be a rewarding feeling when you see the #73 on TV, knowing that you got it there!
Thank you to Pilgrim Powersports, Fly Racing, and 139 Designs for all of the support. I also want to say thank you to all my fans, friends, and family for overwhelming amount of support you have given me throughout my career!
