Hi There!
My name is Damian Edwards. I am Comedian/Writer and Theater graduate of University of Florida who uses his comedy and honesty to express the diversity of America. Where else can you see a Jewish man eating a Jamaican Pattie in front of a Haitian Restaurant sitting in a monster truck?

Wow!

This year, I was a part of a nationwide theater tour and..then I wasn't. Ya see, The tour slowed down now due to COVID and has put me at a Crossroad of 'Do i Continue??'. 

I am currently  still on my acting journey. So, i wasn't sure whether to post this as art project or emergency.  But my bank account was like 'label it EMERGENCY'. And as you can see...I'm still trying to keep my humor. 

My goal is...to KEEP GOING ... in a practical and economical way. Because I either chase my acting or go back to being a caregiver for my mother. 

Ya see...my mother has Alzheimher's.  I have been a caregiver for my mother 7 years.  This time i was given, as a traveling actor, made me able to taste LIFE after many years. And my siblings now have to take over as caregivers. And in my time away, I  had PROOF that i can get PAID to act. Unfortunately, I've also had PROOF of obstacles and fact that nothing is guaranteed.

But my art journey has also allowed me to truly wake up and appreciate the Sunshine, the trees, and the ability to let me voice be heard. On stage. And even now. Thanks for hearing my voice. 

So, I am asking for DONATIONS.. to help me with Travel, Daily expenses, and Social media tools to continue my acting, freelance work, and independent shows... At least for another YEAR. With $5,000 to help that journey. 

I want to continue auditioning for shows and But ALSO presenting my OWN performance material, as well. 

I want to show  the American Struggle. While also letting people who are struggling with ANYTHING know... that God is always with them. And when the going gets tough, God is all I have.
And When I say GOD, i just mean Love. Something we all believe in. A word so Simple to say...but epic to know. 

Whether I finish my journey or not, one thing i do know is, I gave it my best. and I gave LOVE my best shot, as well.
