Aji Arequipe "Gigi" Uran's treatment expenses

Aji Arequipe Uran, lovingly known as “Gigi” has been our furry four legged coworker for 3 years and has provided support to several hundred people at the detention center, a place we all know is notoriously difficult to be in even for NWIRP staff. Gigi brings a smile to pro se folks whenever they see her and provides some respite for them with each visit. Besides the wonderful support she provides for people who are detained, she also provides vital moral support for the LOP team that goes to the DC for most of the week.

Gigi is an integral part of our office and a beloved family member to our co worker Xio. Unfortunately Gigi has been diagnosed with multiple chronic Health conditions that will require treatment for the rest of her life. She recently had knee surgery and may also need back surgery in the future.

Given the mounting expenses of her long term care we would like to personally ask any willing staff members to donate to a fund for Gigi to lessen the burden on Xio.
