Aaron Imlay is a good man. Not just a "good" man known by a couple of people but one that is known by many.
On August 29th, he was involved in a massive car accident on Hwy 100 in Tennessee that inflicted a great deal of trauma on his body and his personal life.
That's why I'm here. To help him piece his life back together.
AJ, as I call him, has a house, a good job, HAD a truck, had a life but due to the unforeseen, life-changing events on August 29th, the uncertainty of what life will look like in 5-6 months is a stress I do not wish to see him endure.
I've been a part of AJ's life for nearly a decade. I've seen him grow into a very Godly man. Honest, hard-working, loyal, trustworthy... the list goes on and on. I for one, cannot sit back and do nothing knowing he cannot work until MAYBE the end of January 2017.
We need to rally around him. Show him the love of Christ and help cover him in his physical, financial needs.
I want the community around him to help cover his house note, electricity, & water. Nothing more. 300 people donating $12 or more will keep the worry of losing more than just his mobility out of his life for a little while longer.
While the insurance companies fight it out, AJ is losing out. They more than likely will not cover the lost wages from the months out of work.
I want him to be able to walk into his house after his body heals knowing the great cloud of witnesses surrounding him, loved him enough to see him through the most difficult time in his life thus far.
The first mortgage payment since the accident is due on October 12th and all monies raised will go towards paying AJ's housing bills.
