My beautiful 27yr old daughter, Leila Simpkins
She has been diagnosed with a rare agressive thymic carcinoid which has grown into her lungs cavity near aorta (neuroendocrine tumor) and into her bones.
(As of June 2016 - 16 new tumor metastases)
Beginning of September this year, Leila was working in her new job as Typo area manager in Sydney when her feet ballooned out. She immediately went to the RPA hospital in Sydney which did 10 days of testing and now she has had her first week of chemo.
Only being in her job for just 3 months, she has exhasted her sick leave and now has to apply for sickness benefits welfare from Centrelink.
She has to pay over $135 a week in medication let alone a $1500 injection a month from the endocrine unit.

Her chemo has been free thank heavens.
Im an injured worker,lost my job and home. Due to NSW Liberal Government changes to workers compensation in June 2012, this allowed my local government employer to state that they couldn't afford my hours at work, knowing at my age with disabilities, I would never be offered employment again. As well, Im supporting another daughter at university who hasnt been able to find employment.
You all know me on Twitter as @CorruptNSW and you know from that profile of how my family lost their Dad, my husband and were denied his estate unlawfully by the then Legal Services Commissioner of NSW - Mr Steve Marks.
Please help my daughter Leila Simpkins. I want to move her out from an awful apartment open to the pollution of Sydney's CBD near Central to somewhere clean and condusive to good health yet near RPA Chris O'Brien Lifehouse for ongoing chemo treatment. Im desperate for her not to worry and stress and have a fighting chance to beat this cancer.
