On behalf of the Good Counsel Football community, we are raising money for the loved ones of Akeem Hebron. It is with great sadness, the community mourns the loss of former student, football player and coach, Akeem Hebron, who suddenly passed on June 9, 2023, at 34 years old. Akeem dedicated so much time and energy to the Good Counsel school community and the football program. He helped so many alumni and current student athletes. His legacy is remembered and will carry on.
He is also remembered by the Georgia football program. “Our hearts are heavy as we mourn the loss of a beloved member of the Bulldog family, Akeem Hebron. His dedication to Georgia Football will always be remembered. We send our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.”
Akeem is survived by his mother, Fern, father, James, two sisters, Carisma and Ignico, and his two sons, Adrian and Kade.

About Akeem
During Akeem’s time at Good Counsel, he was the #1 ranked player in the state of Maryland with 131 tackles and 13 sacks as a linebacker. He was first team All-State, All-Conference and All-Metro and was voted a USA Today Parade All-American and Army All-American. He was also captain of the team. Akeem went on to earn a full-ride scholarship to play football at the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, he received the Iron Man Award in 2006 and 2010, and was a member of the Georgia Football Unity Council from 2006 to 2010.
