Aker's Family Fund

My name is Ryan Hait and have been coaching youth sports for a long time now. I do it to give back to my community, and help enrich kids’ lives. I love to see kids develop in life, sports, and hope the work I put in will leave a lasting impact on the kids I work with.  I see a large cross section of kids both under privileged, & over privileged kids. Again I do this to give back an help develop kids in sports and as individuals. Those out there that coach know there is always a kid that help’s to impact your life. 

Wyatt Akers is one of those kids. Just all around great person. He listens, never talks back, never asks for the ball, just goes out there and plays great and does what it takes to help his team win.  He is respectful to me, and his teammates.  When Wyatt first came on our team it only took about 2 practices to know he was a special kid. I remember after we won a game due in part to Wyatt's 2 TD's I was speaking to the team in front of the parents and said "Wyatt is one great teammate, a great athlete and very respectful" I pulled his mom Kristi and Dad Rocky aside and told them how wonderful it is to have Wyatt on the team, and I can tell they are fantastic parents just by how respectful their son Wyatt's is. 

Unfortunately Wyatt lost his father Rocky in a car accident on Monday 1/16/2017. I can't imagine the profound impact this has had on his wife Kristi and son Wyatt. I am starting this GoFundMe page to help raise money for Rocky's family. One thing I will always remember about Rocky is that amazing smile he always had whenever he saw me. Ear to ear beaming with joy. Just excited to be out there watching and supporting his son play football. What an amazing guy, Rest In Peace Rocky you will be dearly missed by everyone you touched.
