Support Shawn's Recovery Journey
Donation protected
On Friday, February 28th, Shawn was on his way to do homeless outreach when a car cut him off. He was not able to stop his motorcycle in time, and as a result, has sustained serious injuries. Shawn is currently in critical care in the ICU and will need multiple surgeries and lots of rehabilitation.
Shawn is in school full-time at ASU, studying Popular Music and Non-Profit Management. He has been working so hard and goes above and beyond to get as much as he can out of all of his classes. He has been studying percussion, music production, piano, and grant-writing and has been applying all of these classes to his work with Unity Salsa.
On top of this, he has made it his mission in life to help people get sober and off the streets. Shawn has been sober for nearly 4 years, which is an incredible accomplishment. He devotes his life to helping others who have had the same struggles he has experienced.
Shawn is one of the strongest, fiercest, and most resilient people we know. He is going to come out of this stronger than ever, but he has a long road ahead of him.
Please consider donating to help make sure he has the financial stability to get through this difficult time.
