Unfortunately Me and my wife were victims of a brutal fire that cost us to lose everything caused by our neighbor who had started the fire.
I stepped out my house to pick my wife up from work because it just so happened her car was in the mechanic shop. Any other night I would be sleeping waiting for her to get off from work as she gets off later in the night.
As I was arriving back we look up at our house and notice that flames and smoke are blazing through the windows of the multi family home we live in.
The only thing I can think of was if everyone got out and the fact that I had a fire extinguisher located at the top floor where our apartment was located.
I wrapped a hoodie around my face to do the best I can to protect myself from the smoke and without thinking rushed into the house up to my apartment and told my wife to stay there.
It was pitch black and I could barely breath. I somehow made it to my apartment grabbed my fire extinguisher and started kicking down my neighbors doors and attempted to extinguish the fire myself with a fire extinguisher but the flames and smoke were too thick to overcome. I managed to to save my fellow tenants as they were sleeping and unaware, my wife directed the other tenants outside to safety. I ended up being admitted to the hospital where I'm being monitored because the smoke inhalation has affected my heart.
We have lost our two cats and countless other irreplaceable items but are glad we got to walk away and save others in the process. This part did not make the news and we are asking for any donations to help us get back on our feet as we maneuver through these troubling times.
