Nancy Stephens Funeral Expenses

Update Sept 28:

Nancy’s family planned and paid for her cremation today with the funeral home. Her celebration of life date and time will be decided shortly. We couldn’t have done this without the love and support you all have shown us through this difficult time in our family’s life. From the bottom of all of our hearts THANK YOU! It means so so much to us. We will make sure and pay it forward whenever we can in the future ❤️

Update from Judy, Sept 16:

My sweet sister passed away last night she fought as long as she could I will miss her so much. I love you Nancy but you are at peace now.

Update from Judy, Sept 14:

They are giving her morphine every 2 hours to keep her comfortable. They have discontinued foods and liquids. She is hard to wake. She just sleeps now and her breathing is labored. Hospice said she may last 24-48 hours is all but we know only God knows when it’s her time.

Just left from visiting my sister she just mainly sleeps they try to keep her knocked out so she don’t hurt her eating has slowed down a lot Amy stays by her side making sure the home does there job thinks for everyone’s prayers and continue to pray for her not to suffer thanks everyone

From my Aunt, Judy Stephens:

I am doing a go fund me page for my sister, Nancy. She has been dealing with some major health problems that put her in a nursing home beginning in November 2022. The practitioner at the nursing home that oversees Nancy called Monday to let us know that she had taken a turn for the worse. They stated that the didn't feel like she would make it through the week. Like so many of us, she has not made any pre-arrangements for her end-of-life services, cremation or burial. She could never afford to set this up because she lived on disability and did not make much money monthly. She was a good-hearted person even though she did not have much. If anyone was hungry, she would give them her last bite to eat. I am doing this fundraiser to help her with funeral services. If anything is left over it will go to her end-of-life care and expensea. Any donations would be greatly appreciated no matter how small they will be. We are so thankful for any help we can receive.
