Help Me (Al Davidson) Get My Car Repaired!

Hello! My name is Al Davidson (she/they) and I was in a car accident back in July. I was heading home after getting groceries when the woman in the lane next to me decided she needed to get over ASAP while texting on her phone. I tried to get out of the way but she turned so fast and with such force she managed to do $10,050 worth of damage to my doors - thankfully we weren’t going fast otherwise I could have been severely hurt. It has been almost four months since I had my car towed to the shop, I have run out of rental coverage and ended up needing to resign from two different jobs because of this accident.

I have lost about the equivalent of two months of income between losing jobs, not having a car, and being sick due to the increased stress of the situation. I am now about three months behind on several bills, too. She is claiming it wasn’t her fault, so her insurance isn’t covering any of my losses and I don’t have the funds to take her to court which is annoying. Things are hectic. My only source of income right now is DoorDashing and I lose my second rental - one I had to pay $750 out of pocket with no reimbursements for - on Monday (October 23rd) which means I won’t be able to go to interviews or DoorDash to make any money.

I owe the auto body shop $500 after my insurance coverage and I simply don’t have it. Right now I have about $125 and, as much as I hate to do this, I need help. I’m looking for just $350 to try and help me get my car back so I can drive and DoorDash, and any little bit will be helpful at this juncture since I am about $1,500 short on other bills so I need to get back on the road ASAP. I appreciate your help and support in this and I am SO sorry to have to ask for help like this but it’s just not something I can afford on my own right now. Your help will get me back on the road and to job interviews!
