Help Al & Deb Bohlen thru his Glioblastoma cancer.

Hi, my name is Laura. Debbie Bohlen and I have been friends since grade school. Alan and Debbie have been married 35 years. They have 3 adult children and 2 grandchildren.

In August, Alan was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma multiforme stage 4 brain cancer. Alan received 13 weeks partial pay through his work disability. Since that ended, Debbie has been the sole provider for their family. If she doesn’t work she loses her insurance. Alan was recently admitted to the hospital after suffering a seizure. His cancer has spread. Debbie is working and by his side when not. She is getting very little sleep trying to do it all. They have applied for SSI but he was in the ER the first scheduled interview call and they missed it. They had to reschedule it. The phone interview took place recently and they were told it would be expedited which could mean 6 months instead of a year. 6 months is a long time with over half of your income gone. If you can find it in your heart to help them, it is ever so much appreciated. It will lighten this heavy burden a bit. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.
