Al Gnadt Medical & Recovery Fund

Hi, my name is Anna Gnadt and I, along with other family members and friends, am fundraising for my brother Al Gnadt. Al recently had a complex surgery to remove a large brain tumor pressing on his brain stem. He has a long road of recovery ahead of him, which his doctor says includes speech and physical therapy in an inpatient medical rehabilitation facility for a while. It is likely he will also have radiation treatments in a month or two. The doctor says Al won’t be able to work for at least 3 months, possibly longer, and won’t be able to drive for at least 6 months. Al is self-employed so he doesn’t have traditional workplace benefits like paid sick leave. My brother Al is a kind and generous person, as all of his many friends will attest. He is a loving and wonderful son, boyfriend to Laura, brother to 3 sisters, and nephews and nieces. We all love him tremendously.
