The Alan Roach Family Memorial Fund

It is with great sadness and disbelief that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Terence “Al” Roach.
Al leaves behind his loving wife Alicia and four beautiful children, Robert, Nick, Samantha and Ryan. As you can imagine Alicia and Al’s family are completely devastated at losing an amazing and dedicated husband and father.
Al was an amazing human being. He could light up any room with his smile and his laughter and always left a lasting impression on everyone everywhere he went. If you knew him, you loved him. He had a heart of gold and was there for his family, friends and co-workers day or night. With Al everyone else’s needs came first and he always made sure you knew how important you were to him. His friends fast became his family.
For many years Al gave back to the community by being a coach and mentor to many baseball leagues and teams. He helped to motivate and inspire many young athletes and his youngest son Ryan still plays baseball for Vanden and the Admirals travel ball team. Al was also the Vice-President of the Vacaville Unified School District SEIU Local chapter 1021. He was a dedicated member of the negotiating team and various other union committees representing classified employees. Al listened with an open mind and heart and made sure that all classified employees knew that their voices were heard and that they mattered.
Al’s wife and children are in need of any and all support we can give them during this time of transition into a new way of life without a husband and a father. They will need help with all the costs that come with such an unanticipated tragedy. Any donations will help them now and for the future.
