Help Alaa and her family survive Gaza

"I am Alaa from Gaza. I am 26 years old, married and a mother of two children. Pictured is one of my two beautiful children. I was living a beautiful life before the 7th of October and out life was filled with happiness and fun. I worked as a nurse in geriatrics. My beautiful daughter, Ayla was a year and a half old and I was seven months pregnant at the time we lost everything. I woke up in the night to something heavy on top of me. I opened my eyes and saw nothing but darkness and smoke. I realized that I was lying in the rubble of my home. I started calling and screaming for my daughter and my husband. I found my daughter and picked her up and began to climb out of the rubble, blood pouring from me. My father was martyred and we all sustained injury of some sort. Labour pains came, I was displaced and I have no clothes of my own or a cot for the new baby. Then I went into labour in the middle of the night. All ambulances were busy with Palestinians who had limbs blown off or severe internal bleeding. I suppressed my pain until the morning and I walked to the hospital and gave birth to my child before his due date without any pain relief.
The situation now: We want to escape death if the border and I want to be able to support my children in a peaceful life. Thank you for thinking of me. "
Here is Alaa at work and training others before the war.
They have two beautiful young children, Ayla 18 months and Muhammed 5 months (born during the war.)
Before the war and now.
On 26th October, their house was destroyed by bombs and her loving father was martyred.
She is also having to care for her widowed elderly mother. They live from hand to mouth, sheltering in cramped rooms with other families when they can. They are in Deir al-Balah in the Gaza strip and live in fear that they will not survive the next attack, the next bomb. They need to be able to flee at a moment's notice so need a tent ready and transport.
Thank you so much for reading.
