Alaa and his family to not die of hunger

I am PY and I would like to share with you my friend's story:

Hello. My name is Alaa Ammar. I am 20 years old. I live in Gaza. I studied programming and databases before the genocide, and I was a football player as well.

I have 7 brothers and a sister. I am the eldest. We now live in a tent. My father has been injured since the beginning of the war, so I am responsible for my family. I used to go and collect firewood and sell it to buy food, but because of a nearby bombing I now suffered from a bad injury in my shoulder. Now I am unable to collect firewood or work. The doctor has prescribed me a treatment but I can't afford it. Even if I have the money, I have to prioritise feeding my family.

My sister suffers from allergies and can't eat anything containing gluten. This makes it really hard to provide food and really expensive. (The cover photo is my sister.)

Our nylon tent is so hot that even the bread we baked rotted and got mouldy. We have almost run out of food. Even the pain reliever is running out as well. I don't have a solution for this except asking for your help.

We will die of hunger unless you donate now. Please.

I (PY) have set up and will be responsible for maintaining the page, as well as transferring the money to Alaa. Alaa doesn't want to share more personal information, but I can attest that I have seen photos of his University card and identity card.
