Helping my family survive the danger of war and start a new

Donation protected
Hello everyone, I am Muhammad Al-Sir. I am 42 years old from the Gaza Strip. I will tell you my story after October 7 in light of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip. I have a family consisting of 9 members,
Most of my children are young, with my eldest, Batoul, being just 14 years old. She is followed by Sydal, 13; our twins, Majd and Jodi, who are 11; Sidra, 8; and our youngest twins, Ahmed and Mahmoud, who are only 5.

We once lived a life filled with joy and security in our home in Gaza City. Our days were filled with laughter and dreams, but the war shattered everything. Our home was reduced to rubble, and we were left with nothing—no shelter, no water, no electricity, no food, and no clothing.

We now live in a tent on the street, enduring relentless hardship. The Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip forced us into repeated displacement, each time leaving behind pieces of our lives. My family lost everything we held dear, including our house, which was destroyed by relentless bombing. But the hardest loss of all was the sense of safety and peace we once cherished.

The violent bombing followed us wherever we fled, and my children, so young and vulnerable, endured unimaginable fear and suffering. The days were grueling; there was no work, no income, and no way to meet the basic needs of my large family.

The war has taken a heavy toll on my children. They have been deprived of a stable life, education, and the innocence of childhood. They have suffered from illnesses, and their psychological state has been deeply affected by the trauma. What should have been carefree days filled with learning and play have been replaced with anxiety, despair, and deprivation.

We are struggling to rebuild even a fraction of the life we once knew, but every day remains an uphill battle.

My children have lost everything—their cherished toys, their belongings, and the precious memories they held so dear. This loss has been especially hard on my youngest, the twins, who are struggling to understand why their world has been turned upside down.

We are trapped in the Gaza Strip, facing unimaginable hardship with no safe refuge. To leave this devastation behind, I need your help. Exiting Gaza requires €5,000 per person, and I am raising funds to secure a safe future for my family and me.

Any contribution, no matter how small, brings us closer to safety, hope, and the chance to rebuild our lives. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and support.
