Alaiya Noelle Wilcox

As many of you may have heard, The Wilcox family lost their sweet, beautiful, spunky, two year old daughter, Alaiya Noelle, unexpectedly today, December 26th. 

On Monday Lacey and Brandon took Alaiya to the ER because she had a fever that kept going up and down. They dismissed her because they said she had normal viral like symptoms. The following day, Tuesday, as Lacey & her family were laying her mother to rest, Alaiya was rushed to the ER again & then transported her to Riley in Indy. She was quickly diagnosed with bacteria meningitis. 

My heart is absolutely broken for my friends! They are amazing parents to both of their daughters, Alanna & Alaiya. We can not imagine the pain that this family is going through, especially during the holidays. Her daddy is a police officer and her mommy is a stay at home mom, & the last thing they need to worry about is the cost of such an unexpected & tragic situation. 

Nothing is going to take away the unbearable pain that Brandon and Lacey are experiencing & I know they would NEVER ask for help, but during such a difficult & heartbreaking time, I wanted to set this account up so we can come together as friends, family, coworkers & wonderful people to help lesson the financial burden. 

So while you are all home enjoying your families and new gifts with your children, please come together and help this family get through this tough time. Even if you can't make a financial donation, prayers go a long long way. Let's all be with the Wilcox family at this time.
