Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

On Monday, February 3, 2025, 47 workers at the Alamo Drafthouse in Colorado were illegally laid off, with little to no warning or severance. These workers, many of whom were dedicated to delivering exceptional service and creating a welcoming environment for guests, were informed their positions were terminated with no due process, no opportunity to appeal, and no legal or economical justification. What makes this situation even more heartbreaking is that these employees were left without the income they depended on.

In response to these illegal layoffs, the workers at Alamo Drafthouse have walked off the job in an Unfair Labor Practice Strike.

We are calling on your generosity to support these workers as they navigate the difficult journey ahead. The money raised here will go directly to helping those on strike, covering essential costs such as rent, bills, medical expenses, and food. These funds will provide much-needed relief during the incredibly stressful transition as they search for new opportunities.
