Alan Mahon

On Saturday, April 6th the Mahon family lost a leading light and patriarch. Alan Mahon succumbed after a long battle with cancer. Alan’s legacy reads like a movie script. As a rough and tumble youth, Alan served our country as a Marine. After his time in the service, Alan applied his blue-collar attitude to his passion for motorcycles. Alan was long-time member of the Sacramento Chapter of the Hells Angel Motorcycle Club. Alan Mahon’s business acumen was felt in the Sacramento Area Community; he helped the bike community by organizing local NHRA events. Later arranged the Sacramento’s first Tattoo Convention, the All-American Tattoo Festival.

Alan’s generosity has never been questioned, however his battle with cancer had a monetary toll. Medical bills have depleted Alan and the immediate family’s financial resources. This Go Fund Me Account assists the family with the financial burdens of the upcoming funeral expenses.

Alan’s Services will be held on Saturday, April 27 at 11 am. The event will take place at Herberger Family Funeral Chapel in Alan’s childhood city of Elk Grove (9101 Elk Grove Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624) The Service will be followed by a Wake at the World-Famous Mahon Ranch. (10171 Grant Line Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95624) Food will be provided for attendees.
