Hello all, my name is Kristyn Ramos and I’m fundraising for my little brother, Alan.
Recently my brothers and myself were involved in a horrifying, near fatal car accident. This accident left us all injured but left my little brother seriously injured. Alan was in critical condition.
Alan was rushed to the ER at Hackensack hospital to seek the intensive care he needed. Alan has multiple upper body fractures and broken bones. Broken rib cage and internal bleeding. Head trauma, fractured back bones and a fractured spine leaving him in a neck and back brace.
Only during the duration of his recovery, Alan must always have the back brace on and utilize his wheelchair to help him through his spinal discomfort. From now and until he reaches 100% recovery and even after that, Alan must keep up with specialists for his head, neck and spine trauma.
The fact that Alan survived is nothing short of a miracle. We all, especially Alan, face excruciating physical and emotional pain and a long healing process ahead of us. Alan must face many challenges from now on, so this is the time to come together and help him. Alan needs prayers, encouraging words of hope, and thoughtful actions. All the money raised will help pay for Alan’s medical expenses, therapy treatments, and anything else needed to allow him to recover.
If you know Alan, you know he’s always smiling and full of laughter so it was traumatizing seeing my little brother laying on the road screaming in pain and not being able to run to help him, as I was stuck in the car. This accident could’ve been fatal and I’m so thankful that we’re all alive! I keep squeezing Alan’s hands, as I cannot hug him just yet.
Thank you to all who have already reached out with their love and prayers. As well, thank you to those that have visited us and brought us meals meanwhile our parents are in Italy anxiously rushing to fly home. To all that have already donated, thank you so so much!!
