For Children of Kathi Blankenberg

Kathi was a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, niece and friend. Her life was tragically ended by a horrific crime when the father of her two children shot and killed her on June 22nd. Kathi’s daughters are now left without their mother. They are 11 months old. Kathi was a straight forward, loyal, and kind person. She was a friend who never shied away from doing what was right. Kathi often talked about wanting to start a family, and when she called me to tell me not only was she pregnant, but, she was pregnant with twin girls, I was elated. Kathi loved her twin girls with all of her heart and worked tirelessly to give them the best home and more love than any child could ask for. My heart and many people’s hearts are broken. Kathi was a rare gem. I will remember Her for her wit, intelligence and heart; however, I will mostly remember her for being a strong driving force that helped me more than she knew. Please help us uphold Kathi's legacy by helping give towards her children's future.
