Support Alana Rae's melanoma journey
Donation protected
My name is Jaymes and I’m fundraising for my family. My partner, Alana Rae, had surgery to remove melanoma from her cheek in April 2024. A small amount of cancer was found in her lymph nodes. She started immunotherapy treatment at our local hospital in July to keep the cancer from growing/spreading.
Alana’s treatment will go on for a year and comes with the risk of many possible, potentially permanent side effects. We are unsure what to expect and how much she will be able to work at MUD, the community pottery studio she started last year. I will be taking time off work to care for her and our daughter, Penelope, when needed.
Funds donated help cover:
- our living expenses while Alana undergoes treatment
- additional medical expenses including herbal consultation, healthy food, supplements, medication, and lymph drainage massage
- operating costs to keep MUD open
We appreciate your support and are deeply grateful for any donation you feel compelled to share with us during this challenging time.
