Aland Branchedor’s Funeral Expenses

The last time we spoke with our dad was November 22, 2023, the day before Thanksgiving. We dropped our dad off at work and borrowed the car to do last-minute Thanksgiving shopping. Later that night, we finished the shopping around the same time our dad usually got off work. We went to pick him up from work, but he never came out or called. We were unfamiliar with the specific area in the building where our dad works, so we didn’t know where to go inside and look for him. So we waited. We waited 2 hours, and he still didn’t come out. We ended up leaving, thinking that he was probably getting off of work later than usual. But time passed, and he still hadn’t come home. It was now Thanksgiving day, around 1:30 am, so we decided to call the job, but no one answered. We then called a co-worker/friend of our dad to ask what time work was supposed to let out. The co-worker explained that he should’ve gotten out early, especially since it was the day before Thanksgiving. We were worried because he never came home, so we returned to the job to look for our dad. When we arrived, we drove up further to the back entrance of the building and found our dad lying there on the ground, helpless. We were shocked, panicking, trying to do CPR, and called 911.
When the police and paramedics got there, they did what they could but confirmed that he was dead and had been lying there for a while. Our dad was usually the last person to leave work, and it hurts that he died alone with no one to help. Our dad worked two full-time jobs every day to ensure that we had everything we needed, and we want to do right by him and send him off in the way he deserves with a good funeral service. The funds will go towards funeral expenses. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get in covering the costs. Our family benefits from this, and we are grateful for any support. Thank you!
