Alanna Smallwood's Memorial Fund
Donation protected
With heavy hearts, we are coping with the unexpected passing of our beloved Alanna Rose Smallwood (nee Mussachio), who left us on December 12, 2023. Alanna was a devoted wife, loving mother to Gianna (13), Aspen (12) and Eva (7), a caring daughter and sister, and a dear friend to many. Alanna’s bright spirit and beautiful smile will forever live on in the many who knew her.
A graduate of Penn State University, she dedicated 23 years to the Avalon/Stone Harbor School District as a math teacher and school counselor, touching the lives of countless students with her kindness. Alanna’s children kept her busy in the best possible ways from dancing school with Eva to football and lacrosse games with Aspen and Gianna. She even leveraged her field hockey experience to learn to coach lacrosse. When Alanna was diagnosed with AML Luekemia this past October her children's well-being and their future encompassed her every thought. In these challenging times, we want to ensure that Alanna’s love continues to provide for them, just as she would have wanted.
We are setting up this fund to help her husband, Greg, and the children navigate the future without their beloved Alanna. The funds raised will be used for general expenses and to establish a college tuition fund for Gianna, Aspen, and Eva.
In the spirit of Alanna’s generous nature, we kindly ask for your support. Let’s come together to honor Alanna’s memory and contribute to a bright future for her children.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
