Alan's Everest by Christmas

Sandness Community Development (SCD) is a charitable organisation within the community of Sandness on the West side of Shetland mainland. The organisation is run by volunteers to promote the wellbeing and to strengthen the bonds that connect the community. The overall goal is to build a safe, strong, sustainable, self-reliant community, for the benefit of all.

SCD need ongoing funding to facilitate this, without this funding we will not be able to support its activities, aims and objectives and our continued costs.

Alan, a SCD member, director, business owner and resident of Sandness is attempting to climb the equivalent height of Mount Everest by making his way up our very own Sandness Hill 42 times before Christmas. Please support him by donating via this GoFundMe page.
