Alaya Wilson-Funeral Expenses

Please join us Sunday, October 2nd at 3pm at Parkside for the reveal of the memorial bench for Alaya. It was the desire of Alaya’s family to use some of the gofundme funds to do something to help keep Alaya’s memory alive. The bench will be a place for students, staff and family to enjoy, unwind and relax. We will meet outside of the auditorium doors at Parkside.

Dear friends and family - as you’ve now probably heard, Brittney and Jay’s 12-year-old daughter, Alaya, passed away unexpectedly, in her sleep, on January 26. Her passing has crushed many of us, and left us wondering how, and why, God would take Alaya from us. The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Alaya was a kind, and caring kid, whose gorgeous smile lit up her face. She was adored by her younger siblings, and was a wonderful big sister to them. Alaya was in 7th grade at the Middle School at Parkside, and the entire school is mourning her loss.

Funds donated will help the family cover funeral expenses, so Alaya can have the heavenly send-off she so richly deserves. Please hold Brittney, Jay, their children, and families in your prayers.
